Charles River Unveils Mobile App for Buy-Side Users

Charles River has launched Charles River Mobile designed specifically for iPad/iPhone and Android-powered devices.

According to Charles River, the new offering allows financial advisors, portfolio managers, compliance officers and other investment professionals to monitor critical information when away from the office and offer a more personalized service to their clients.

Leveraging the growing use of tablets and smartphones, Charles River Mobile is designed specifically for iPad/iPhone and Android-powered devices and is an extension of the Charles River Anywhere browser-based tool.

Users can remotely access orders/trades, accounts, compliance status, watch lists and market data in real time. Portfolio managers can manage asset allocations, create orders, monitor cash, and view top holdings based on the latest trade information. Financial advisors can conduct more interactive face-to-face client meetings using their tablets as a graphical reporting and presentation tool.
