Salerio Switch Offers Central, Local Matching Choice

Salerio CEO Bruce Hobson says firms will benefit from a choice when matching trades.

Salerio's clients will now be able to choose between Omgeo's central trade manager (CTM) platform and Swift's global electronic trade confirmation (GETC) software─a choice Salerio's CEO Bruce Hobson believes will increase competition and save firms money.

"We recognize that there's no absolute guarantee that there will be 100 percent service availability from any vendor, so we're providing the market with an alternative," he says. "If you only have one vendor and outages happen, your systems go
