Saudi Arabia-based NCB Capital has selected the Charles River Investment Management System (IMS) for a number of areas, stretching from portfolio management to compliance.
NCB is one of the largest Sharia-compliant fund managers in the world, and the phased upgrade process, of which this implementation represents the first, will stretch across multiple asset classes. The firm is seeking to automate a range of processes for its Riyadh and Jeddah-based users.
"We want to be the manager of choice for local and foreign investments in Saudi Arabia, and Charles River's global solution allows us to offer strategies and processes equal to those of the world's leading asset managers," says Sami Al-Bashir, COO, asset management at NCB Capital. "Charles River IMS has helped to significantly reduce risk and increase efficiencies in our investment management process."
Bill Murphy, CTO of Blackstone, once again joins the podcast to discuss the private equity firm's new offices, designed to house its innovations team.Subscribe to Weekly Wrap emails
