Spectracom, a Rochester, New York-based provider of global navigation satellite systems will integrate the TimeKeeper software from Austin-based time synchronization specialist FSMLabs into its 10 gigabit-per-second network clock.
This is part of a larger partnership between the companies to address the requirements of data center operations that depend on speed, security and availability in parallel with the delivery of performance relative to low latency and high packet speeds.
"By delivering features that include support of PTP and NTP protocols, enhanced manageability and monitoring, network sync monitoring, high-accuracy time, advanced fault-tolerance and 10 GbE connectivity, our customers will have the tools and visibility they need to focus on their core business," says Spectracom president and CEO Lisa Withers.
