Ullink Buys Two Brands from NYSE Technologies

Laurent Useldinger, CEO, Ullink

Ullink, a Paris-based provider of trading solutions and connectivity, has entered into an agreement to acquire trading technology NYFix and market access provider Metabit from NYSE Technologies. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2014.

The additions give Ullink enhanced buy-side penetration via NYFix and access to the pan-Asian markets via Tokyo-based Metabit. The combined company will operate under the Ullink brand. Scott Fitzpatrick, COO of NYFix, will become MD of the NYFix Services business line of the enlarged group and Daniel Burgin, CEO of Metabit, will become COO-Asia for the enlarged group.

Ullink is majority owned by private equity firm HgCapital.
