Instinet Adds Luminex Integration

Buy-side clients can now size up shares.

Instinet clients can now search for large institutional blocks of liquidity by electing to expose their shares to the Luminex dark pool through Instinet's execution management system (EMS), Newport 3.

"There's been demand from our customers for this kind of integration," Anthony Fortunato, managing director of Instinet LLC, tells WatersTechnology. "It affords our buy-side clients the ability to use conditional orders, rather than fully commit their shares when accessing Luminex."
