Midwest Stock Exchange Seeks To Use Quotron As Backup For SIAC
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
The Midwest Stock Exchange has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to switch delivery of its quote data to Quotron Systems Inc. in the event of a Securities Industry Automation Corp. systems failure. If approved, the plan would make the Midwest, which trades all New York Stock Exchange- listed stocks, the only exchange open for trading in the country and Quotron the only vendor with that trading information.
SIAC handles data collection and consolidation for all the major U.S
