Cantor Disputes With Telerate Over Selective Entitlement, Hints At Lawsuit

Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. has asked Dow Jones Telerate to disentitle a new set of users that the broker construes as competitors, a request Telerate has thus far declined to satisfy. Cantor officials emerged from meetings with Telerate last week hinting that the firm might file a lawsuit alleging that Telerate's inability to manage data entitlement is harming its brokerage business.
