Exegy Pitches ‘Data Tone' to Cut Hosted Connectivity Burden
St. Louis, Mo.-based hardware ticker plant vendor Exegy will this week release Data Tone, a service that allows trading firms to establish direct connections between their trading applications co-located in third-party datacenters and Exegy ticker plants hosted in the same co-location facilities, enabling them to capture low-latency market data without having to purchase, install and manage their own ticker plant.
By connecting applications individually to Exegy's ticker plant, the Data Tone
