R3's Corda platform will be integrated with HP's NonStop platform for enterprise-grade use cases.

The move is a significant step for Corda, which was released to open source in November 2016. The product is a distributed-ledger platform designed primarily for financial markets, which is described by R3 as a platform for “recording and managing financial agreements”.

As part of the deal with HP, which was announced on June 7, Corda will run on HP Enterprise’s Integrity NonStop Platform, designed to handle the processing requirements of large firms at an enterprise scale.
