Deutsche Börse Sees Opportunity in MiFID

Deutsche Börse is planning to launch a range of products, possibly including a MiFID data service, in 2006, officials tell Inside Market Data.

The MiFID service would consist of a toolbox aimed at investment firms, systematic internalizers and multi-lateral trading facilities (MTFs).

Many details remain undecided, including whether it will build the service itself or use an external provider, says Holger Wohlenberg, managing director of Market Data & Analytics.
