TradeWeb Revises Deal with Reuters

TradeWeb has re-signed an agreement allowing Reuters to carry its fixed-income data, but now TradeWeb is owned by rival Thomson Financial the new deal restricts the data that Reuters can freely redistribute and allows TradeWeb to strike similar deals with other vendors.
The original deal, which was signed in 1999, allowed Bridge Information Systems' Telerate business to carry TradeWeb's US Treasury prices on an exclusive basis (IMD, Feb. 22, 1999). Moneyline re-signed the exclusive deal, which
