UK-based software vendor DST International (DSTi) has begun marketing its HiDataWarehouse system in conjunction with HiMarketData as an integrated static and market data warehouse. DSTi had been selling HiDataWarehouse as a database that supported its other products.
The new approach, which is being led by new head of product management Steve Cheng, responds to demand from asset managers for middleware-style data warehousing and management systems, such as the data distribution architectures
