Proxy Wars: ADP Effort Prompts Suit From IECA

In the shareholder proxy and ballot distribution business, Automatic Data Processing Inc. is using automation to challenge the entrenched supplier. The Independent Election Corp. of America (IECA) is fighting back in court. Last month, IECA filed a suit in New York State Supreme Court against ADP for what it calls unfair competition and the misuse of trade secrets.
