KRF's Tucker Steps Down After Five Years

Paul Tucker, president and chief operating officer of Knight-Ridder Financial (KRF), has stepped down to make way for a replacement -- yet to be selected -- who is expected to direct the quote vendor through the next phase of its expansion. Until a permanent replacement is found, Tucker's responsibilities will be handled by Pat Tierney, president and chief executive officer of Knight-Ridder Information (KRI), who recently took on oversight of KRF (IMD, June 19).

Tucker is candid about the move:
