Telerate Systems Inc.'s worldwide financial network went down on morning of Sept. 18. for over two hours as result of power failure at its computer facility in Jersey City, N.J. The power failure was due to malfunction at Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) power closet that services area. PSE&G spokesperson blamed outage on hungry rodent that gnawed into critical ground-level switch.
