Primark Revenue Up; Highlights Include Piranha, Active Express

EARNINGS REPORT

WALTHAM, MA--Sales from new products, including Piranha and I/B/E/S's Active Express were highlighted as contributing to revenue increases in Primark Corp.'s upbeat second quarter results statement.

Overall, Primark reported second quarter revenues of $122.2 million, a 12 per cent increase over the same period last year. This excludes the effects of a restructuring charge in the second quarter of 1998. The company also reported income from continuing operations of $4.2 million, much improved
