Knight-Ridder Links Up With Aspen For Planned Profitcenter

Knight-Ridder Inc. next month plans to launch ProfitCenter, a sophisticated futures analytics service developed by its Kansas City-based Commodities Division and Aspen Research Group Ltd., a Glenwood Springs, Col., software firm. The planned rollout could impact a separate project at Knight- Ridder's New York-based Financial Division to deliver MoneyCenter and Tradecenter information via a single data feed.
Knight-Ridder is currently testing ProfitCenter at at least 30 client sites. The system
