NASD Is Cleared To Lift Display Fees For Level II Data

The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved an exchange fee increase requested by the National Association of Securities Dealers for its National Quotation Data Service (NQDS), better known as Level II. The hike would effectively bring the cost of NASDAQ's most comprehensive feed to $50 per display, per month -- a hefty $25 increase.

The increase comes on the heels of exchange fee hikes by both the Options Price Reporting Authority (IMD, Sept. 30) and by the Consolidated Tape Authority
