Moneyline Telerate One Year Later

In October 2001, Moneyline paid the Bridge estate $10 million for the global assets of Telerate and Bridge assets in Europe and Asia/Pacific. On paper, the deal was a steal. The Telerate arm of Bridge Information Systems generated gross revenues of $469 million in 2000 inclusive of revenues from Bridge News. Slicing out the news, we estimate Moneyline bought over $300 million of revenues for $10 million. Not a bad deal!
