Dow Jones Markets Slates Desktop For Q1 '98 Release

Dow Jones Markets last week outlined the strategy behind its new Interactive Desktop, and gave Inside Market Data an exclusive preview of the service, which is slated for release in the first quarter of 1998. Dow Jones Markets is now working on specific marketing plans, including pricing and rollout date.
The Interactive Desktop, making use of a number of Internet-related technologies and leveraging Dow Jones' relationship with Microsoft, is one of several new services resulting from its $650
