Reuters Gives The Market Good News

Reuters' first quarter results, announced on Wednesday, April 20, show that month on month sales climbed for three consecutive months for the first time in four years, raising expectations that the vendor's ongoing decline in recurring revenues will flatten out by the end of the second quarter.

Overall revenues fell 2.5 percent on an underlying basis from Q1 2004, from £598 million to £561 million (all percentages are on an underlying basis). Recurring revenue was £530 million, a decline of 1.4
