Bang Networks Tests New Product for Financial Services

SAN FRANCISCO--Bang Networks has enhanced its Directpath service to appeal to financial services clients, and a resultant new product that offers premium delivery of market data via the Internet will be launched in the fourth quarter.

What Bang Networks has developed is basically a "global data bus" that sits on top of the public Internet. Market data can be plugged into any web-based application using an XML tag. "It eliminates the need for expensive in-house market data delivery solutions,"
