Reuters America announced last week that it was undergoing a major organizational change--one which will cut at least 170 personnel from its staff across the US, Canada and Latin America. The layoffs cut nearly five percent of RAM's workforce and come from a wide range of business areas. Reuters America is pursuing these changes in an attempt to refocus itself into a more sales-driven company.
According to a Reuters spokesperson, the sales department was the least affected by the cuts. Harder
