Castlenet Refocuses The Beast System On DJM's Active1

NEW YORK--In the wake of Dow Jones Markets' scaling back its ambitious plans for the Interactive Desktop, Castlenet is now working to migrate The Beast analytical system onto Dow Jones Markets' Active1 display software. A production version is expected by late summer.

The deal with Castlenet, which cost Dow Jones Markets $25 million, was signed in August 1997. It gave Dow Jones Markets exclusive licensing rights to The Beast within the scope of its workstation products.
