Among other things, the KRF prospectus uses a fair amount of ink to highlight the vendor's news operation, according to sources who have seen the document. And with good reason-it's KRF's news service that is helping to attract firms including Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe and ADP, neither of which has its own news arm.

Telerate's recent decision to stop distributing its Capital Markets Report via third parties (see story, this issue) could also be increasing the two vendors' thirst for KRF's
