Telekurs Starts Low Latency Project

Telekurs Financial has begun a two-year project to build a global low latency market data architecture, Inside Market Data has learned.

The project involves using local data centers to deliver data locally, a strategy that Telekurs (USA) followed two years ago with the implementation of a ticker plant from Infodyne to deliver domestic data directly to local customers, rather than routing the data through Zurich and then back to the US (IMD, June 9, 2003).

Now, Telekurs plans to build upon the data
