New TDPF Spec Sent To System Integrators: "Extended Services"

Dow Jones Telerate has issued a new technical specification to data distribution system integrators for the Telerate Digital Page Feed (TDPF), in advance of making available to TDPF users a series of data enhancements which it calls Telerate Extended Services.

According to Telerate vice president Larry Landau, the specifications to support extended services are new primarily in the sense that the vendor is for the first time insisting that all TDPF user sites be capable of accessing them. He says

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
