Nymex in Data Revenue Hunt

The New York Mercantile Exchange is aiming to raise its market data revenues through a combination of new data products and increased audits and licensing of its existing data, newly-appointed vice president of market data services Robert Garfield tells Inside Market Data.

In particular, Nymex is looking to follow in the footsteps of other futures exchanges that have developed their data businesses by using their Web sites as distribution tools.
