The move is expected to double message traffic over the feeds, although updates could increase by up to 200 percent during peak trading times, says Georg Gross, head of front-office data and analytics at Deutsche Börse. As a result of increased message traffic, Gross estimates that customer bandwidth requirements will approximately double from two to four megabits per second for the CEF feed.
