Reg NMS Deadline Questioned

Industry and government leaders last week were skeptical that the June 29 deadline for Regulation NMS (Reg NMS) compliance would be met.
"It's pretty clear that there's a great deal left to be done" before June 29, says Dan Gray with the market structure counsel division of market regulation at the USSecurities and Exchange Commission. "The date needs to be extended substantially,"Gray says.
