The new SPA would require fund administrators to pay additional fees for data sourced via Bloomberg Data License for the purpose of calculating funds' net asset values, and which is subsequently distributed to clients to support the NAV calculations. From Bloomberg's perspective, the license aims to ensure that the data is properly licensed and to protect the intellectual property within the data.
