Edgar Online Provides 'Real-Time' XBRL Filings Access

The first XBRL filings were submitted to the SEC late last month following the commission's ruling at the end of last year to mandate the use of XBRL as the interactive data format for financial filings (IMD, Dec. 22, 2008). The first phase was implemented this year, which sees public companies with a market capitalization of more than $5 billion reporting in XBRL for their first fiscal period ending on or after June 15, 2009.

Now that the documents are submitted in XBRL format by the companies

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
