MSCI Adds Default Data to BarraOne


Jonathan Hudacko, executive director and head of multi-asset-class portfolio analytics at MSCI Barra, says the vendor added the datasets to version 3.2.1 of BarraOne in response to the current economic environment, in an effort to enrich the platform with credit analytics that it previously sold on a standalone basis. For example, he says, MSCI has provided the default probabilities data as a standalone raw feed for three years.
