Exegy Resumes MarketDataPeaks with Essex Radez
The Web site resumed updates of messaging peaks for each minute of each trading day in late October when the Essex Radez data went live, after going on hiatus in mid-August after Xasax ran into funding troubles and stopped disseminating data (IMD, Sept. 7), says Jeff Wells, vice president of product management at Exegy.
To capture the messaging traffic, Exegy installed a ticker plant in Essex Radez's space at Equinix's NY4 datacenter in Secaucus, NJ to connect to the multicast addresses of feeds
