Nasdaq Seeks to Breed 'Pit' Bullishness

Nasdaq is holding talks with data vendors to distribute a new datafeed that will use graphics to represent market activity information that is not found in an order book but is apparent to traders on an open-outcry floor.

Nasdaq Market Analytix will initially only be distributed via vendors—although none have yet signed up to do so—and as a tool for online brokers. However, Nasdaq plans to launch its own front end to display the data for direct delivery to clients later this year, says Adena
