Index Glitch Halts Bursa Data
Bursa Malaysia restored index data to subscribers last week after a problem with its real-time feed of index data from FTSE disrupted the distribution of market data for the exchange's equities and derivatives markets. As a result, Bursa Malaysia was forced to halt trading last Monday, Feb. 16 because even though trade and order messages were not interrupted, participants were not able to view market data from the exchange.
