Euronext Readies Hugin Buy

Euronext last week announced plans to strengthen its corporate news distribution presence with the acquisition of Norwegian news provider Hugin Group for €20.5 million.
The acquisition is expected to complete before the end of the year, after which Euronext will integrate Hugin with CompanynewsGroup, which the exchange purchased earlier in the year (IMD, Feb. 6).
Hugin currently distributes news on behalf of 1,200 companies in 20 European countries, and has 86 staff spread across offices in
