CEP Benchmark Specs Draw Closer
The benchmark specifications will define a range of "workloads" that typify different functions performed by CEP technology vendors, according to STAC director Peter Lankford, who says "We're trying to keep it simple, while testing the various performance characteristics."
For example, one workload that could be tested involves simply comparing the last two tick prices for a given security to establish the direction and momentum of price movements, while another might require computing a rolling
