NYSE Adds Best Quotes To OpenBook
As of November, the New York Stock Exchange will add best bid-and-ask quotes for all NYSE-listed securities to its OpenBook product at no additional charge, directly from NYSE rather than from the Consolidated Quote System via SIAC, NYSE's technology subsidiary. The best market quote contains specialist and floor broker interest in addition to top-of-book data. Officials say it will provide "a complete liquidity picture."
