CSI Unveils Open-Source Feed Handlers
The vendor is initially releasing handlers for the highest-volume US exchange feeds-the New York Stock Exchange's ArcaBook Multicast feed, Nasdaq's ITCH 4.0 feed protocol, and the Options Price Reporting Authority's FAST (FIX Adapted for Streaming) feed of US options trade and quote data, though Richard Reichgut, director of financial services at CSI, says the vendor has a list of 30 to 40 other handlers that it plans to develop.
