FISD Unveils MDDL, Updates Recommendations

Data industry association FISD last week released a new, open-source license, data model and XML schema for version 3.0 of MDDL (Market Data Definition Language), intended to clarify that MDDL is an open industry standard and eliminate any ambiguity regarding intellectual property issues around using MDDL in downstream applications.

Separately, the FISD also released last week new guidelines on market data service levels, response times and communication
