Robert Barsky, Smith Barney's director of communications services, is stepping down. Barsky, who reported to Mel Taub, senior executive vice president and director of systems and operations, was responsible for reorganizing Smith Barney's communications services group one year ago (IMD, September 11, 1995). The restructuring radically altered the look of several units at the firm, including market data.
Barsky, who joined Smith Barney in 1995, was previously chief operating officer at ADP's
