Bank Of America Now Favors Renewing Telerate Contract

After a prolonged flirtation with Knight-Ridder Financial, it appears that Bank of America's attention has moved back to Telerate. Bank of America had been negotiating with both vendors, but it now appears the bank has decided on Telerate. Sources say factors that influenced the shift include the price Telerate offered, the departure of key KRF sales staff from the West Coast and Hong Kong and Telerate's change in WAN distribution policy.
