Chase Manhattan Bank is taking a close look at Marimba's Castanet as a way to deliver new applications and credit reports to its traders worldwide over its six-year-old intranet. Marimba's intranet push technology is designed to make it easy to create, distribute and manage applications across an enterprise.

Chase is considering using Marimba to distribute credit reports to approximately 500 foreign exchange traders and other credit users worldwide, and has purchased two of Marimba's Castanet
