Exchanges Report Growth in 2004

The Tokyo Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange and the TSX Group all reported last week that their market data revenues have increased.

The TSE’s information services income for the nine months ending Dec. 31, 2004, is up by 17 percent, to ¥5.79 billion from ¥4.96 billion during the same period in 2003. The figures suggest a turnaround from fiscal year 2003, when market data revenue fell (IMD, Aug. 23, 2004).
