MMS Sale Rumors Resurface

Mike Arora, a former Dow Jones Newswire executive, is heading a bid for Standard & Poor’s MMS commentary and analytics division, according to sources in the London market. Arora is negotiating financial support for a bid with venture capitalist firm Alchemy Partners, the sources say.

Arora declines to respond to the rumors that he is making an offer, saying it is “too premature” to make a comment.
