Don Roll, the former managing director for Bridge Information Systems in Europe, has joined Data Downlink as managing director for Europe, a new position. "We think it will be better to have someone on the ground in Europe to do deals with content providers and start up a sales force," says Steven Goldstein, one of the vendor's founders.
Roll, an investor in Data Downlink, says, "I looked at a number of opportunities and I really liked the idea of a startup and doing something completely
