The Boston Stock Exchange is looking to upgrade its computers so it can handle more orders and boost market share through electronic trading. Bridge Information Systems and Bloomberg (with its ECN, Tradebook) are possible candidates for a trading partnership, according to William Morton Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of the Boston exchange.
