Dresdner Sells Database to IBM

Dresdner Bank and IBM last month signed a deal for IBM to take over the operation of the bank’s financial market information database for an undisclosed sum. The database was originally a joint development between the two parties to collect, archive and analyze data for risk management purposes by the bank.
